How to set a good goal
We often talk about the importance of making your own path and trying to stick by that plan, how to set a good goal. On the way, you will hit some obstacles and make some turns but if you have a clear plan it is easier to find the way back to the path.
- Find and define your goal
- Identify where you are
- Make your path
Setting a goal
Set a goal that makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning, that excites you, trigger you to work for it. The goal you define should reflect and mirror things that are important to you and your life.
- If you don’t go after what you want, you will never get it. Get started and progress from there, set a goal.
- If you don’t ask, the answer will always be no. Ask yourself questions and try to find answers. Your goal might be there somewhere.
- If you don’t step forward, you will always be in the same place. Again, get to work.
Find the stories you want to tell when you grow old and reflect on what you do, right now, to create those stories.
“You don’t know your limits until you push yourself past them”
The path is the actual journey you are about to commence. This is where you prove to yourself that you can “walk your talk” and move towards your goal.
The road “to become a better you” should contain challenges for you, there will be choices to make and most probably some sacrifices. The things you do have a direct impact on your life. In Nolimit-app, you have access to several tools that will help you succeed.
Your present status
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
The present is your current stand, often called the flow zone. Life passes by at a relatively fast pace with daily tasks and obligations. The scary part of the present is that you can experience that you wast your time on “not so necessary” things. There are other, more satisfying and important, ways to use your 24 hours. Do you have control or do you mostly do things that are expected of others without having control?
The only real luxury is time, you can’t get time back.
